information about Rex Garland

Rex Garland from Cambridge went to WWII  in 1940. He trained in Egypt where he saw the pyramids. He then went to Greece where he was taken prisoner of war by the Germans.He was sent to a prison camp in Austria.He was released when the Russians beat the Germans.A book titled A Kind of Cattle was written about the prison.Rex died in March 1999.
